I've been getting onto Mom because we haven't even been ordered to go downstairs to retrieve the beloved Christmas decorations! I plan on getting everyone to do that tomorrow. It would help if the girlies did their chores though...you know, the house needs to be someone clean before we make a mess or then it just turns into a Mess-mess...no fun. Anywho...I can't wait until you get home!Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01954417975204380108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-349651066712221190.post-64321208019869899442008-12-12T05:04:00.000-07:002008-12-12T05:04:00.000-07:00OKay so totally LOVING the 12 dates of Christmas! ...OKay so totally LOVING the 12 dates of Christmas! LOVING it! How cute is that??? And don't worry! You can still do it! LOL! The actual 12 days of Christmas don't start until Christmas Day and they end on the 5th of January. At least that's what I learned when i moved to England! hahaha! The 26th is a holiday here too, it's called Boxing Day.. not so you can duke it out.. but so you can box together all your gifts for the next elven-ten days for your friends and relatives! LOL! Anyway, that's the tradition! And there's a few people here who still do it! I think it's awesome! After Santa on Christmas Day, they get a small gift from someone else every day after. Until the end of the 12 days of Christmas. It really helps expand the Christmas Holiday and make you grateful for every item you recieve. Oh! and it was started to represent the years or months or half years...LOl I can't remember, that it took the wisemen to find Christ.Jenni Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14340454147439103595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-349651066712221190.post-36224783294972285112008-12-11T20:12:00.000-07:002008-12-11T20:12:00.000-07:00Oh, Julie. You know I'm the same way with people I don't know all too well (and you'd think that in 4 and a half years I'd be much better with Curtis' family than I am). I can't help but think back to the time when we first met each other and I thought you didn't like me... and you thought I didn't like you. I suppose old habits tend to die hard... we should work on that! haha.

I LOVE the 12 DATES of Christmas idea. I can't even do that with my husband as he will not be back in time for a full 12 dates before Christmas day. But that's alright by me as long as he's home by Christmas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-349651066712221190.post-2920302147470421642008-12-11T17:51:00.000-07:002008-12-11T17:51:00.000-07:00Hey lady-friend, I heard you were a lot of fun Tue...Hey lady-friend, I heard you were a lot of fun Tuesday night. My family can be intimidating so you done good.

I want Christmas to mean a lot to me too, but finals do a good job of killing the Christmas Spirit. And when I say Christmas Spirit, I really mean getting close to Jesus Christ. That's what it means to me anyway.

We'll have a great Christmas together, and I'm happy you get to spend Christmas with your family this year!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
